Design
During the design process, the first time you add a Hunter-Douglas window shade to the design, you'll be prompted to add a Hunter-Douglas PowerView Hub to the smart home as well. A single PowerView Hub is required in order for Hunter-Douglas Window Shades to work with a Devicebook Smart Home.
Installation
Install the Hunter-Douglas window shades around the home. When you install the window shades, leave them uninitialized. Devicebook will walk you through setting them up during House Check.
The PowerView Hub should be installed near the Devicebook Hub, near the center of the home.
You have two options for connecting the Devicebook Hub to the PowerView Hub:
Option 1: (Recommended) Wired Ethernet Connection
Use a Cat 5 Ethernet Cable to connect the PowerView Hub's WAN port to the Devicebook Hub's LAN port (or to a network switch connected to the Devicebook Hub's LAN port). Make sure the PowerView Hub is powered on, and wait for five minutes before proceeding to House Check.
Option 2: Wi-Fi Connection
Make sure that the PowerView Hub is in a factory-initialized state by following the manufacturer's instructions. Devicebook will automatically discover and provision the PowerView Hub during House Check.
House Check / Set Up
1) After setting up the Devicebook Hub, you should set up the PowerView Hub, using House Check. When you do so, Devicebook will discover the PowerView Hub, and link it to the Home Controller.
2) Pair a PowerView Pebble Remote to the PowerView Hub. Devicebook will walk you through this step in House Check after the PowerView Hub has been set up.
Note: At least one Pebble Remote is required per installation. Second and third remotes are added to the network by duplicating the first remote (see "Duplicating a Remote" in the manufacturer instructions).
3) Use House Check to set up each of the window shades in each room. Devicebook will walk you through the process of pairing each device with the PowerView Hub, and then linking the device to the Home Controller.

How do I extend the range of the PowerView Hub's network?
You should add PowerView Repeaters to the PowerView Shade Network. This can be done with no change to the smart home design. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to add the Repeaters to the network.
Note: You should not add additional PowerView Hubs to the network. This method of extending the shade network is not supported by Devicebook. Only a single PowerView Hub should be connected to the Devicebook Hub's LAN.
How do I re-calibrate PowerView Shades?
Full instructions for re-calibrating HunterDouglas PowerView Shades can be found in the HunterDouglas PowerView Step-by-Step Guide.
The home already has a functioning Hunter-Douglas PowerView Hub 2 and window shade installation. How do I integrate it with a Devicebook Smart Home?
You can integrate an existing Hunter Douglas PowerView Hub (and its networked window shades) to the Devicebook Hub.
1) Ensure that the smart home design includes all of the appropriate devices. If you need to modify the design to add the devices, be sure to re-generate the Home Controller.
2) Use a Cat 5 Ethernet cable to connect the PowerView Hub's WAN port to the Devicebook Hub's LAN port.
3) Follow the instructions above to use House Check to Set Up the Hunter Douglas PowerView Hub.
Note: When you follow the above steps, any automations or groupings that were set up on the PowerView Hub will be removed, but devices paired to the hub will continue to be paired. You can use Routines in the Home Controller to re-implement the automations.
