My contractor requested to update my smart home. What does that mean?

When your contractor needs to make improvements to your Devicebook Smart Home, such as upgrading devices or adding features, they may request to update your smart home to apply the improvements.

In order to apply such improvements to your smart home, the contractor needs to temporarily have control of it, in order to modify the features and set up the new devices.

Once you accept the contractor's request, you will not be able to control your Devicebook Smart Home until the contractor transfers control back to you. In addition, some of your smart home automations and routines may not work properly until control of the smart home is transferred back to you.
